Today I made a quick stop-over at Hida-Furukawa.
It has a nice old district called Setokawa to Shirakabe-dozo.
There you can find a nice old sake brewery for example.
A nicely done garden.
Visiting the Honko-ji temple.
You can admire the nice wood carvings at this temple.
The red bush nicely fits to the memorial stone.
A nice shopping street.
The large festival drum is located next to the Matsuri Kaikan.
This is the large drum with special sticks where the men are balancing on their stomach.
The festival museum shows some of the nice Tais that are pulled over the streets during the Hadaka Matsuri.
The Tais are nicely decorated.
All decorations are carved from wood.
Some of the Tais feature dolls that are remotely controlled through strings that can show great dances.
As a farewell I get a small rainbow over the station.
